Premier Global NIT Recap

While rain is desperately needed in our beautiful state of California, rain and baseball don't make the best combination.  Sadly, some much needed rain came through and made the fields at Big League Dreams Riverside and West Covina unplayable.  Fountain Valley escaped unscathed from Saturday's rains, and led to beautiful weather on Sunday to finish out some exciting divisions.

10-Under:
Having only given up three total runs in their first three games, the Cali Rage were feeling confident about their chances in the Championship game.  It wasn't until they went up against the also undefeated Southbay Surf that they faced their first difficult challenge of the weekend.

Spring Classic Recap

11-Under:
After going 1-1 on Saturday, the Chino Hills Dirt Dawgs were ready to take control on their hometown fields.

After a convincing 8-0 quarter final victory, they faced the Irvine Knights.  The Irvine Knights had given the Dirt Dawgs their one loss on Saturday.  Looking for a fresh outcome, Cameron Kessel took the ball on the mound.  Kessel threw 6 brilliant and scoreless innings against the 2nd Seed Knights.  Scoring 8 runs for the second straight game, they took another shutout victory into the Championship game.
